F(x)

F(x) is a girl group formed in 2009 in South Korea by SM Entertainment. The name is a play of the mathematical notation for function, with the letter "f" signifying flower and letter "x" representing the female's double x chromosome. The quintet consists of Victoria, their leader, Su Li, Krystal, Luna, and Amber.

Their debut single is La Cha Ta which was released last September 1, 2009.

They also made the Electronic Pop Version of the song "Chocolate Love" while Girl's Generation sang the Retro Pop Version of the song which was used to endorse the 4th edition of the Blacklabel series LG CYON phone. that was on October 7, 2009.

They made their CD single entitled 츄~♡ (Chu~♡), which was released on November 9,2009.

This fresh girl group still continues to shine because of their collaboration with Chinese boy band M.I.C. for a song "Lollipop" to promote the LG CYON phone.
